Hello friends, it is I Richard writing today, the first thing to clear up is that I have not been left in the prison!
Today has been busy, stressful and tiring but also good. This morning was day two of the holiday club, due to the weather the football group ended up staying inside, and myself, Dave, Colin and Mark had a session with them playing the animal game and Dave did a talk about God being the best ref in life. The group were quite shy to start but have been opening up more to the group as the time has gone on.
Chris and Sue continued the kids club today and had some new children come along, I was able to help at this in the afternoon. The small children are real sweeties, especially when they smile at you with a big grin! It seems most of the kids come from poverty or broken homes, which is sad. But it is great to be able to input into these kids lives. Please pray that the church is able to follow this work and continue to reach these tiny lives that live in such tough places.
This evening the team have been involved in a praise and worship time, which have been a blessing to us, but the church have also explained how they are blessed by what we are doing. This evening the team performed dramas (or skits in America) some songs as well as testimonies. Dave Turner preached which saw a good response from the church and followed a time of prayer. Myself Kathryn and Beth took the young people out for a while and talked to them about sharing their faith. And Chris and Sue spoke to the little tiny children.
So far the mission over here has been really interesting for me, it has been amazing to see so much of God in people and the landscape over here. There are amazing sights everywhere and in the rocks and amzing formations you can see the very finger prints of God!
Please pray for the team as we are all feeling really tired, and there is still loads to go. The holiday club has one more day to go, and then in the evening the ladies are taking a meeting and the guys are going to a young people detention centre.
AMEN <><

Hi all - another really powerful day. Are you feeling any better? We've really been praying for you. From the photographs you all look pretty relaxed - especially Chris with his cup of tea (probably well earned!)
Keep going - this is the tough bit when you're half way through and starting to feel tired but it's also the time when you really draw close to God - so try and rest Him & be still.
Lots of Love

oops - last line should read 'rest in Him....'
- too many late nights & early mornings!!
Have been following the blog and printed it out and took to cell last night (I gave your mum the printed copy Margaret so your Dad can see it). We were all exhausted just reading about your work.
We can’t wait to see your earrings Alice
We had a prayer session for you all. Great to hear that a few more children have attended club.
Keep up the work you are on the homebound track now and I am sure God is there every minute of the day.
Hugs to you all

must be excellent doing the kids club- who is winning?
Ricard and dave- whats it like sharing agian? eh any wondering farmers in the night crying out "Milk Milk!" anyone playing stars in your eyes when the door opens in the night?! looking forward to our sleep over- i spoke to Dave Pickett and he says its fine to have a sleep over round he's!
For everyone- felt that it is right to say. Try not to be controlled by the needs that are around that can often control what you do. Just do what God wants you to do.
love steve potts
Hey everyone!!
Apparently you are all having a good time. Hope Dave T isn't finding the football result too hard too bear and that Richard can actually play football (evidence suggests otherwise). Have fun and don't forget that you are fortunate not to be doing revision all day!!!
From the revision hidey-hole

Dear all,
Have been praying for sleep, strength, refreshment and anointing for you all. Major sharing point in our life group last night, we felt blessed just talking about you.
Love from Simon and everyone in Graham's life group.

Hi all!
Sounds like another good day. Am very glad that colin had his shorts on in the picture and not his painting jeans!!! Tee hee!
Hope you got to do football etc today and that the weather was kind.
Had to get up in the night last night to text this to colin - don't know whether he shared it, so
'They that wait on the Lord will renew their strength, They will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint'
So keep going!! I'm obviously on the count down to you coming back but you still have important things to do so keep focussed and tell them that Jesus loves them.
I love you all very much (but still colin most...of course!) xxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Colin,
We are havin' fun with your girls. Chris took Jessica swimming today, they had loads of splishy splashy fun. Lunch at David Lloyds was nice too.
It sounds like things are going well. God Bless.
